VISTA, CA (October 6, 2021) – Tuesday night, a man sustained injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Santa Fe Avenue near Civic Center Drive.
 
The incident happened at around 5:00 p.m. in AutoZone’s parking lot. Moreover, it occurred on South Santa Fe Avenue near Civic Center Drive.
 
When the deputies arrived, they located a man pinned under a Toyota pickup at the scene. However, they didn’t find the truck driver at the scene.
 
After freeing the injured pedestrian, responders airlifted the patient to Palomar Medical Center through a medical helicopter.
