1 Hospitalized in Lakeland Village Pedestrian Crash on Grand Avenue near Church Hill Street
LAKELAND VILLAGE, CA (December 7, 2022) – Friday morning, a man sustained injuries following a hit-and-run accident on Grand Avenue near Church Hill Street.
The incident happened at around 6:25 a.m. on Grand Avenue, just north of Church Hill Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black sedan struck a male pedestrian who was lying in the northbound lanes for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene northbound without stopping. Also, a southbound white Toyota 4Runner made a u-turn in the area and struck the victim.
Moreover, responding Riverside County Fire Department paramedics rushed the victim to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar in critical condition.
Meanwhile, officers asked anyone with information about the incident to call the Temecula CHP office at 951-506-2000.
