DAVIS, CA (June 29, 2019) – A man sustained injuries in a two-car crash on eastbound 80 Freeway, Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred near the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area. It happened at approximately 9:13 PM. Based on reports, a red Ford pickup truck and a white sedan were found in the area. However, police do not know what circumstance caused the accident.
 
A man in the sedan appeared to be injured. However, the paramedics confirmed that the victim suffered minor injuries in the incident.
 
The No. 1 lane closed while a clearing operation took place in the area. However, an investigation is ongoing. In addition, more information will be released once available as it is still under investigation.
