Man Hurt in Fatal Traffic Crash on W Garfield Street [Seattle, WA]

Seattle, WA (July 7, 2024) On Friday evening, a man died and a 32-year-old man was hurt in the horrific traffic crash on W Garfield Street.

According to the Seattle Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 10:45 p.m. on the intersection of 15th Avenue W and W Garfield Street.

Reports say that northbound speeding Toyota Corolla slid sideways and collided with a southbound Toyota Camry in the Interbay neighborhood.

Officials pronounced a man dead at the scene and the other man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating the fatal collision and have not released further information at this time.
