1 Injured in Sacramento Pedestrian Crash on Cottage Way
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 6, 2019) – A 46-year-old man sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash on Cottage Way on November 3.
According to the investigators, the man got struck while walking across Cottage Way near Fulton Avenue shortly before 10:00 p.m.
A video showed that the man crossed the street in a crosswalk with two bags in hand. However, a silver sedan struck him head-on and fled the scene.
Responders took him to the hospital with major injuries.
The driver then drove to Cottage Way and turned into a nearby parking lot. According to detectives, the vehicle possible has front-end damage.
