1 Injured in San Diego Auto Accident on Spring Canyon Road and Scripps Ranch Boulevard
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 7, 2021) – Friday night, a 20-year-old man suffered injuries in a high-speed crash on Spring Canyon Road and Scripps Ranch Boulevard.
The incident occurred at 6:05 p.m. in the eastbound 10900 block of Spring Canyon Road. A driver of a 2018 Toyota Prius traveled east on Spring Canyon Road at a high speed. Then, he went off the street at Scripps Ranch Boulevard.
Afterward, the vehicle crashed into a boulder and a tree and stopped around 50 feet off the road.
Officer John Buttle of the San Diego Police Department confirmed that the front passenger suffered a fractured right femur. Thus, responders took him to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver complained of pain and a rear passenger suffered no injuries.
At this time, the authorities haven’t made any arrests.
