SAN DIEGO, CA (November 21, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after a car accident on 8 Freeway westbound on early Thursday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on the transition ramp to northbound Highway 163 in the Mission Valley area at approximately 1:15 AM.
Reports from the San Diego Police Department said that the victim crashed his 2006 Chrysler 300 sedan into a wall. This was after he lost control of the car on the transition ramp.
The paramedics took the unidentified man to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego for treatment of major injuries.
The car was left with major front-end damage due to crash impact.
