1 Injured in Phoenix Car Accident
PHOENIX, AZ (October 7, 2019) – A man required hospitalization after a car accident on 19th Avenue on October 4.
According to the police, the driver who ran the red light probably suffered from impairment. The incident happened at about 6:00 a.m. on 19th Avenue and Deer Valley Road.
The police revealed that a 26-year-old Evan Larson drove an eastbound Ford Fiesta on Dee Valley Road. However, he ran a red light at 19th Avenue.
The Fiesta then crashed into a northbound Chevy Tahoe.
The impact of the crash ejected the 42-year-old male Tahoe driver. He sustained serious injuries and is listed in critical condition.
Meanwhile, Larson remained at the scene. Authorities booked him on suspicion of DUI and aggravated assault.
