Man Hospitalized in Blaine Street Pedestrian Collision [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (April 23, 2022) On Friday, a man sustained major injuries in a pedestrian collision on Blaine Street.

The Riverside Police Department (RPD) says that a southbound 2007 Chevrolet pickup struck the victim at around 8:20 p.m. at the intersection with Iowa Avenue.

Moreover, the accident happened near the UC Riverside campus.

Police say that a 20-year-old Moreno Valley resident was driving the pickup and he did not sustain any injuries.

The driver stopped and did not leave the scene.

Paramedics took the victim to Riverside Community Hospital, the victim was listed in critical condition.

RPD is investigating the collision and has not arrested anyone.
