EUREKA, CA (October 15, 2020) – On Tuesday, a man suffered injuries in a bicycle crash on 14th Street near Summer Street and Pine Street.
 
Eureka Police Department spokesperson Brittany Powell said that the incident happened at about 2:05 p.m. Moreover, the crash took place on West 14th Street between Summer Street and Pine Street.
 
Reports revealed that an eastbound vehicle on West 14th Street struck the motorized bicycle. Meanwhile, the bicycle rider left the scene after the incident. Thus, authorities tracked down the bicyclist and transported him to a hospital with moderate injuries.
 
Investigation revealed that the bicyclist was the one at fault for the collision. However, alcohol and drugs didn’t play a role in the crash, Powell said.
