Man Fatally Struck by Truck on Lynwood Drive [San Bernardino, CA]

San Bernardino, CA (September 23, 2022) – At about 9:30 p.m. yesterday, a male pedestrian was fatally struck by a truck on Lynwood Drive corner Mountain Avenue.

Reports say that a large white pickup truck traveling at a high rate of speed struck the pedestrian.

When the medical team arrived, they located the pedestrian lying in the middle of the road motionless and unresponsive.

Immediately, the paramedics started CPR at the back of the ambulance as it drove away.

Apparently, before the officers arrived at the scene, they received reports that the truck driver fled on foot.

Officers say the driver only left to turn his truck off and get his paper works. The driver later returned to the scene.

In the meantime, the CHP has turned this case to SBPD for investigation.
