Injuries in Bancroft Avenue Fatal Collision
Oakland, CA (January 01, 2022) – On Friday, a driver sustained fatal injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Bancroft Avenue.
It was about 4:45 p.m. when the fatal crash happened at the intersection with Church Street.
Investigating officers said a westbound driver was traveling high speed on Bancroft Avenue. The driver ran the red light at Church Street and crashed with another vehicle.
Unfortunately, the other car’s driver died at the crash scene.
The rescuers then took another driver and two passengers to a hospital with injuries.
Moreover, the driver who missed the red light was also transported to the hospital for injuries. The authorities later arrested him after police found a gun in his car.
The authorities are still investigating this fatal collision.
