Man Fatally Injured in Fresno Pedestrian Collision on Maple Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (November 7, 2019) — A pedestrian collision on Maple Avenue claimed a man’s life on Tuesday night.
 
The police said the incident occurred at around 9:00 p.m. A vehicle was northbound on North Maple Avenue near East Olive Avenue when it hit a man pushing a shopping cart in the roadway.
 
The victim was a man in his 50s. He died from his injuries at the Community Regional Medical Center. The police believed that he was homeless.
 
Meantime, the driver called in the crash and cooperated with the officers. A reconstruction unit also responded to the scene for further investigation.
