Man Dies in Pedestrian Accident on La Sierra Avenue [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (June 25, 2022) – On Friday, a  man sustained fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on La Sierra Avenue.

The fatal crash took place at about 10 a.m. in the area of King Ranch Road.

According to the investigators, the victim was seated at the Riverside Transit Agency stop when a southbound 2015 Honda Civic went out of control, jumped the curb, and struck him.

Afterward, the vehicle continued south and off of the roadway, before it struck two parked vehicles in a residential driveway,.

Unfortunately, the man sustained catastrophic injuries and died at the scene minutes later.

The driver, a 25-year-old Riverside resident, or anyone else on the bus, did not sustain injuries from the incident.

Moreover, the authorities questioned the driver but did not arrest him. Also, they added that drugs or alcohol were not factors in the collision.
