Motorcycle Crashes into Big Rig in Fatal Accident on Highway 99
MADERA, CA (August 26, 2019) – A man died in a motorcycle and big rig crash on Highway 99 on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Avenue 18 1/2 offramp at approximately 10:30 AM. Based on a report, the victim was riding a Harley Davidson on the Avenue 18 1/2 offramp when it accelerated from a stop directly into the path of the big rig.
An attending coroner pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The victim’s name was not released.
Police did not release any other information regarding the details of the big rig accident on Highway 99 at this time. However, an investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing.
