Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in National City

National City, CA (October 30, 2021) – On Friday, a male pedestrian lost his life in an Interstate 5 hit-and-run collision.

The authorities received the crash report at 8:45 p.m. on the northbound freeway at Civic Center South.

Reports said the pedestrian was standing in the fast lane when the vehicle struck him.

However, no vehicle stopped to help the victim.
