Hollywood, CA (April 04, 2021) – On Thursday, a pedestrian died in a tragic hit-and-run crash on Wilton Place.
 
Rescuers responded to the crash scene at about 9:45 p.m. at Santa Monica Boulevard intersection.
 
When they arrived, they immediately took the man to a hospital, where he died.
 
Apparently, the unidentified victim was crossing outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by three vehicles, including a white SUV that that fled the scene right after the incident.
 
Furthermore, the other two motorists that struck him stayed at the scene and coordinated with the officers.
 
“Drivers are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves,” police said.
 
Moreover, a standing reward of up to $50,000 was offered by the city of Los Angeles for information that helps the authorities solve a fatal hit-and-run.
