Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Calloway Road [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (January 01, 2021) – On New Year’s eve, a male pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on Calloway Road.

Officers received the crash report about 20 minutes after 6:30 p.m. north of Stockdale Highway.

Responding officers performed CPR on the victim to revive him but the medical team pronounced him dead at the scene.

Moreover, the involved Ford SUV’s driver fled from the scene and was last seen eastbound on Marby Grange Way.

The authorities are still investigating this fatal crash.
