Man Struck by Unmarked Sheriff’s Car in Fatal Accident on Interstate 10
Tucson, AZ (October 2, 2021) on Friday morning, a man died in a deadly pedestrian accident on Interstate 10.
Officers said that an unmarked Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) car struck the man at around 7 a.m.
Moreover, the report says that the pedestrian was running across interstate 10 near Tangerine road.
Responding authorities found a white Jeep SUV in the median of the Interstate.
The vehicle is registered to the deceased.
The DPS investigates on the probable reason for the crash.
Meanwhile, the PCSD is conducting an administrative investigation.
The authorities closed one lane on the eastbound lane of the Interstate at milepost 240 during the investigation.
