Driver Killed in Cherry Valley Solo-Car Crash on Beaumont Avenue
CHERRY VALLEY, CA (March 17, 2019) — A driver died following a solo-vehicle collision in Cherry Valley on Wednesday, March 13.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver struck a sign in the unincorporated Cherry Valley. They received reports about the incident at around 5 p.m. on Highway 79, also called Beaumont Avenue.
Efforts to revive the driver, whose identity and age were not immediately available, were unsuccessful. Coroner’s personnel were called to the scene, according to the CHP.
It was not immediately known if the driver died as a result of the crash or if he had a medical emergency before his vehicle struck the sign.
