OTAY MESA, CA (February 21, 2023) – Sunday night, a man died in a scooter accident on La Media Road near Airway Road.
 
The incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. on La Media Road near Airway Road.
 
According to reports, a 43-year-old man fell from an Italika W150 motor scooter for still unknown reasons. Then, a semi-truck ran over the victim then fled the scene without stopping.
 
Moreover, officers confirmed that the man succumbed to head and other injuries and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
