Driver Killed, Passenger Rehka Best Hurt after Westlake Village Car Crash
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA (October 2, 2019) — A driver died and his passenger Rehka Best was hurt in a car crash on Sunday, September 29.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the Lindero Canyon on-ramp to the 101 Freeway at around 6:10 a.m.
The motorists drove a 2018 Ford Mustang that moved north on Lindero Canyon Road toward the 101 Freeway. While on the southbound on-ramp to the 101, the driver lost control of his vehicle. The man’s vehicle struck a metering light warning lamp. After that, it collided into a tree before coming to rest on the right shoulder of the southbound 101 freeway.
The 43-year old Agoura Hills man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His identity was withheld pending notification of his loved ones. Paramedics rushed his 43-year-old passenger, Rehka Best, of Agoura Hills, to Los Robles Hospital with major injuries.
