1 Killed in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on State Route 15 near University Avenue
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 20, 2021) – Early Saturday morning, a man died in a pedestrian crash on State Route 15 near University Avenue.
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 12:40 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on northbound State Route 15, south of University Avenue.
Reports revealed that a box truck struck a male pedestrian for still unknown reasons.
Furthermore, officials confirmed that the victim, a 30-year-old man, died in the incident.
Meanwhile, the box truck driver, a 30-year-old Ramona man, sustained no injuries in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
