Pedestrian Killed in Bakersfield Hit-and-Run Accident on Highway 99 and Ming Avenue
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 9, 2021) – Monday morning, a man died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 99 and Ming Avenue in Bakersfield, California.
According to California Highway Patrol, at around 1:00 a.m., an unknown vehicle traveled north on Highway 99. Then, it struck the male pedestrian walking in an unknown direction.
Furthermore, the suspect vehicle failed to stop after the crash and fled the scene.
Also, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
The incident is under active investigation.
