Pedestrian Killed in Sonoma Accident on Highway 12 near Verano Avenue

 
SONOMA, CA (March 23, 2021) – Monday morning, a man died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 12 near Verano Avenue.
 
According to Sonoma Police Department, a vehicle struck the victim outside a crosswalk at around 8:00 a.m. Moreover, it happened on the westbound lane of Highway 12 near the Verano Avenue intersection.
 
Furthermore, the vehicle involved, a white work van was in the road facing to the northwest with front end damage.
 
Also, the incident closed up highway 12 until 1:00 p.m.
