Man Fatally Injured after San Diego Pedestrian Crash on Mira Mesa Boulevard

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 30, 2019) — A man died following a pedestrian accident on Mira Mesa Boulevard on Monday, October 28.
 
The collision occurred around 6:30 a.m., on Mira Mesa Boulevard near Black Mountain Road.
 
According to the police, the unidentified male was crossing Mira Mesa for unknown reasons about 100 yards from the intersection. There, a man driving a westbound Acura struck him.
 
The pedestrian sustained severe injuries and later died at the scene as a result. Police also stated that the Acura driver pulled over and cooperated with police and paramedics.
 
Authorities shut down Mira Mesa Boulevard for several hours while traffic investigators went through the area.
