Hesperia Man Killed in Apple Valley Accident on Interstate 15 near Wild Wash Road
APPLE VALLEY, CA (October 14, 2021) – Tuesday morning, a man died in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near Wild Wash Road.
According to California Highway Patrol, a southbound 2019 Nissan traveled on Interstate 15 at a high rate of speed.
Then, it lost control and overturned. Eventually, it rested within the #1 lane and #2 lane of the interstate. Moments later, a 2014 Toyota failed to avoid collision with the Nissan and struck the vehicle.
Reports revealed that the force of the crash pushed the Nissan to the number 1 lane. Afterwards, a 2019 Infinity hit the Nissan.
Furthermore, responders pronounced the Nissan driver, a 28-year-old Hesperia man, dead at the scene. Paramedics confirmed that the Toyota driver, a 72-year-old man from Forest Falls, sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, while the Infinity driver, a 74-year-old man from Las Vegas, went to a Barstow Community Hospital with moderate injuries.
Moreover, officials do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
