1 Dead in Alhambra Multi-Vehicle Accident on 10 Freeway near Atlantic Boulevard
ALHAMBRA, CA (December 20, 2020) – Friday afternoon, a man died in a multi-vehicle crash on 10 Freeway near Atlantic Boulevard.
According to California Highway Patrol, at around 5:15 p.m., authorities responded to a 911 call. The report was about a stalled 2015 Toyota blocking the No. 1 lane of the toll lanes near Atlantic Boulevard.
A 2018 Nissan SUV driven by a man from Duarte rear-ended the Toyota before officers arrived. The collision sets a chain-reaction crash that also involved a 2018 Ford, said Officer K. Lowell.
Responders transported all the drivers involved in a hospital. The Nissan driver died in the crash. The female 25-year-old driver from Sacramento and the male 26-year-old driver from South Gate sustained minor injuries.
