SAN DIEGO, CA (November 11, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a man died in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 5 near Via De La Valle.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 9:00 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Interstate 5, just north of Via De La Valle
 
Reports revealed that a Kawasaki motorcycle in the #1 lane rear-ended a Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck that was also traveling in the #1 lane. Then, the force of the crash ejected the motorcyclist from the vehicle.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the motorcyclist, a 24-year-old man, dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, officials closed southbound Interstate 5 to give way to the investigation.
 
Meanwhile, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
