1 Killed in Puyallup Train Accident
PUYALLUP, WA (October 28, 2019) – A man dined in a train accident involving a freight train on 7th Street on October 24.
The accident happened at about 2:30 p.m. on 7th Street Northwest. According to the police, the pedestrian didn’t appear to be a high school student.
The Sound Transit advised commuters to expect delays on Sounder trains. Meanwhile, the crash caused delays for the 2:35 p.m. train from Seattle.
Authorities also shut down train track crossings on 5th and 7th Streets NW until about 5:00 p.m. during the Puyallup police investigation.
The police also revealed that it might be a possible suicide.
