The incident happened at around 10:15 p.m. on southbound Highway 101.

According to reports, a southbound vehicle lost control for still unknown reasons and rolled over. Then, a second vehicle struck the first vehicle that came to rest with its lights off.

Moreover, responders pronounced one person, dead at the scene.
