MISSION HILLS, CA (April 26, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a man died in a devastating traffic accident on 5 Freeway and 118 Freeway.

The incident happened at around 12:10 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway to the eastbound 118 Freeway.

According to reports, a northbound white Ford Ranger rolled down an embankment for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash ejected a male occupant of the vehicle into the roadway. Also, authorities confirmed that the man was struck by at least one vehicle while down the roadway.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the incident closed the freeway for a couple of hours but has long since reopened.
