SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (July 31, 2022) – Saturday morning, a man died following a suspected DUI crash on Tank Farm Road near Santa Fe Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 8:14 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Tank Farm Road near Santa Fe Road.
 
Reports revealed that an eastbound Chevrolet veered across the westbound lanes. Then, it collided with a westbound Volkswagen.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the 63-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Chevrolet driver to a hospital with major injuries.
 
Furthermore, officers arrested the Chevrolet driver on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter, driving under the influence of a drug and causing injury and/or death to another, and more.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
