MODESTO, CA (December 4, 2022) – Friday night, a man died in a pedestrian crash on Orangeburg Avenue and Nelson Avenue.
 
The incident happened at around 7:15 a.m. on Orangeburg Avenue and Nelson Avenue.
 
According to the Modesto Police Department spokesman, a westbound dark-colored SUV or truck struck a male pedestrian and then fled the scene.
