1 Killed in Riverside Auto Accident on Orange Street and Tyco Drive
RIVERSIDE, CA (June 23, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, a man died in a solo crash on Orange Street and Tyco Drive.
According to the Riverside Police Department, the incident happened at around 12:15 a.m. Moreover, it occurred at the intersection of Orange Street and Tyco Drive.
Reports revealed that a northbound Dodge Grand Caravan lost control. Then, it veered across the southbound lanes and struck a light pole on the sidewalk, Sgt. Andrew Leyva said.
Moreover, responders pronounced a passenger of the Dodge, a 64-year-old man, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old man driving the vehicle sustained no injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, the incident caused a power outage in the nearby areas of the scene.
Meanwhile, officers asked anyone with information about the crash to call the police Traffic Bureau at 951-826-8723.
