1 Killed in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on Old Highway 80 near Live Oak Springs Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 8, 2022) – Friday morning, a man died in a motorcycle crash on Old Highway 80 near Live Oak Springs Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol Public Affairs Officer Travis Garrow, the incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Old Highway 80 near Live Oak Springs Road.
Reports revealed that a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle lost control. Then, it veered off the roadway and crashed into an asphalt berm, a utility pole, and then a tree. Moments later, a Ford Focus struck the motorcyclist who was already down on the road.
Moreover, responders pronounced the male motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Furthermore, a couple of motorists drove to the crash scene and ran over the vehicle debris on the roadway. As a result, their vehicles became disabled.
