Man Dead in Hit-and-Run Crash on North Stone Avenue [Tucson, AZ]

1 Killed in Tucson Pedestrian Accident on North Stone Avenue

 
TUCSON, AZ (September 26, 2022) – Friday night, a man died in a pedestrian crash on North Stone Avenue.
 
According to the Tucson Police Department, the incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. Also, the collision occurred near the 2500 block of North Stone Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a black 2015-2018 Mercedes C Class struck a male pedestrian while crossing the roadway outside a marked crosswalk. Then, the vehicle driver fled the scene after the collision.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, authorities asked anyone with information about the hit-and-run vehicle and driver to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
