SAN PABLO, CA (January 10, 2022) – Sunday morning, a man died in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate Highway 80 near San Pablo Dam Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 7:30 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on eastbound Interstate Highway 80, west of San Pablo Dam Road.
 
Reports revealed that a transit van lost control for still unknown reasons. Then, it struck the center divider and came into rest in the wrong direction. Moments later, three vehicles hit the van.
 
Moreover, responders pronounced a man in his 20s dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported two people to a hospital with major injuries.
 
Furthermore, the incident blocked all lanes of the highway and authorities issued a Sig Alert at around 6:45 a.m.
