KINGS COUNTY, CA (June 13, 2022) – Saturday night, a man died in a pedestrian crash near Highway 198 and 1 1/2 Avenue.
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. near Highway 198 and 1 1/2 Avenue.
Reports revealed that a car struck a male pedestrian while attempting to pass another vehicle using the turning lane. Then, the vehicle lost control and collided with the center divider.
Moreover, responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Afterward, paramedics transported the vehicle driver to a hospital with minor injuries.
