SAN DIEGO, CA (October 5, 2022) – Monday night, a man died in a hit-and-run crash on Fairmount Avenue and Interstate 8.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 9:20 p.m. Also, the collision occurred on the Fairmount Avenue onramp to Interstate 8 in the Grantville area.
 
Reports revealed that a vehicle struck a male pedestrian and then fled the scene.
