1 Killed in Mission Valley Bicycle Accident on Camino del Rio South near Texas Street
MISSION VALLEY, CA (September 16, 2021) – Tuesday night, a man died in a bicycle crash on Camino del Rio South near Texas Street.
According to police Officer John Buttle, the incident happened at around 8:50 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Camino del Rio South, west of Texas Street.
Reports revealed that a Nissan Sentra sedan struck a bicyclist as he rode west in a marked bicycle lane.
Furthermore, responders pronounced the male victim dead at the scene.
Moreover, officials confirmed that the 25-year-old woman driving the sedan sustained no injuries.
