1 Injured in Hesperia Motorcycle Crash on Highway 138 near Rainbow Bridge Road
HESPERIA, CA (August 30, 2022) – Sunday morning, a man died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 138 near Rainbow Bridge Road.
According to the authorities, the incident happened at around 9:12 a.m. Also, the collision occurred on State Highway 138, west of Rainbow Bridge Road.
Reports revealed that a white 2014 BMW S1000RR motorcycle drove into oncoming traffic for still unknown reasons. Then, it collided head-on with an eastbound 2014 Toyota Camry. Also, the driver of a Honda motorcycle that was traveling with the BMW, fell off his bike after the initial collision.
Moreover, responders pronounced the BMW rider dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the Honda rider to Loma Linda University Medical Center via Mercy Air 22 helicopter.
Furthermore, officials do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
