Early Morning Pedestrian Crash at First and Howard Streets
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 27, 2019) – A man was critically injured in a pedestrian crash early Thursday morning in San Francisco’s Yerba Buena neighborhood.
The crash happened around 1:53 a.m., at First and Howard Streets.
According to police, a vehicle was traveling westbound on Howard Street when it struck a 30-year-old male pedestrian while turning onto southbound First Street.
The victim suffered life-threatening head injuries and was rushed to a hospital. His identity and an update on his condition were not immediately available.
No arrests have been made at this time, but the incident remains under investigation.
