Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Pedestrian Collision near San Felipe Avenue

 
SAN BRUNO, CA (October 5, 2018) – A man was seriously injured late Friday evening following a hit-and-run crash on El Camino Real. The identity of the 50-year-old victim was not disclosed.
 
According to the San Bruno Police Department, they arrived at the scene at about 11:30 PM near San Felipe Avenue to find the victim lying in the roadway suffering from major injuries. Events leading up to the incident were not immediately available.
 
The injured man was transported to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Further details on his current medical condition were not provided. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and immediately left the scene.
 
Authorities described the suspect vehicle as a newer model, dark red or maroon crossover SUV that is similar to a Ford Edge.
