Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Pedestrian Collision near South P Street
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 10, 2018) – A man was seriously injured late Wednesday evening following a hit-and-run crash on Brundage Lane. The identity of the victim was not disclosed to the public.
According to officials with the Bakersfield Police Department, the incident took place at about 11:00 PM near South P Street. The victim was walking outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation. Further updates on his current medical condition were not provided to the public. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
