1 Hurt and 1 Arrested in Issaquah Car Accident on Highway 900
ISSAQUAH, WA (September 27, 2019) – A person sustained injuries and authorities arrested a 33-year-old man after a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 900.
The hit-and-run crash involving three cars occurred about noon on Highway 900 near Southeast 109th Street, between the East Renton Highlands and Issaquah.
The male suspect who caused the collision drove a black Audi and escaped the scene on foot. Authorities later located him at a Bellevue home and booked him on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and DUI.
The incident left one driver with a broken wrist and injuries to the face. Meanwhile, the third vehicle’s driver, a white minivan didn’t suffer any injury.
The crash shut down Highway 900 between Talus Drive and Southeast 109th Street for around an hour. Authorities funneled both directions of traffic through the westbound lanes.
By 2:45 p.m., the road fully reopened after the investigation.
