Injuries Reported in San Antonio DWI Accident on Roosevelt Avenue
SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 27, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, authorities arrested a man after a DWI crash on Roosevelt Avenue.
The incident happened at around 4:45 p.m. on the 3600 block of Roosevelt Avenue.
According to reports, a southbound vehicle rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped and attempting to make a turn. Then, the force of the crash pushed the second vehicle into the parking lot of a nearby business. Also, the suspect vehicle made a sharp turn into a grassy area where it struck a telephone pole.
After the crash, the driver of the suspect vehicle fled the scene on foot.
Moreover, authorities confirmed that an occupant of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, officers managed to locate, arrest and book the suspect on suspicion of DWI.
