Motorcyclist Collides with Sport Utility Vehicle between 14th Street and Farallone Avenue
MONTARA, CA (June 11, 2019) – A man and a woman suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash on Highway 1, Tuesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened shortly after noon. The motorcyclist collided with a vehicle that suddenly stopped and moved to the right.
The victims, both in their 50s and residents of British Columbia, sustained head trauma. A Life Flight helicopter transported the victims to Half Moon Bay Airport. There, a ground ambulance rushed them to a hospital for immediate treatment. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle did not sustain injuries.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
