Pedestrian Seriously Injured after Being Hit by Car near El Evado Road

VICTORVILLE, CA (December 2, 2018) – A man was seriously injured Sunday evening following a pedestrian crash on Palmdale Road. The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed to the public.

As per reports, the incident happened in the 14000 block of Palmdale Road, at about 6:41 PM. For unknown reasons, a small compact sedan struck a male pedestrian near El Evado Road.

San Bernardino County Fire Helicopter 325 was requested to transport the patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. Further updates on his current medical condition were not immediately provided. Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the crash and to identify possible contributing factors.
