Rancho Cucamonga Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 15 near Bear Valley Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 2, 2019) – A 54-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 15, late Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 11:33 AM. A 2019 Harley Davidson made an “unsafe lane change” and collided with a Mercedes Benz near Bear Valley Road.
Emergency responders requested a Mercy Air helicopter to transport the motorcyclist to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment of a possible back injury. Meanwhile, the driver of the Mercedes, described as a 32-year-old Victorville man, did not sustain injuries in the collision. Also, he remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
